Head BrewerARNE
Based out of Scotland, born and raised in Germany and now at Mannheim India, Arne has surely covered a lot of distance to brew beers.
His interest in trying new beers led him to take up home brewing as a hobby and got invested in it. After finishing his masters in environmental science and working a couple of years as an ecotoxicologist, he decided that his real passion was brewing. He gained hands-on experience as a commercial brewer since early 2016.
To bring his brewing to the next level he decided to attend the renowned Certified Brewmaster Course at the VLB (Versuchs- und Lehranstalt fur Brauereiwesen) in Berlin in 2017.
Shortly after this, he moved to Aberdeen, Scotland to work for the famous Brewdog Brewery and now his passion has landed him at the Mannheim Brews to make some great beers!
BrewerVarsha Bhat
Having established a career in the hospitality industry since 2008, Varsha has always been inspired by the idea of creating something new. Her inspiration turned her to homebrews in 2012, intrigued by the process and driven by her spirit of inquiry, she began her journey as an Assistant Brewer at Barking Deer in Mumbai, followed by a successful run as a Brewer for Big Brewsky, Bangalore.
After gathering valuable experience in the field of brewing, she decided to hone her skills further by attending the esteemed Certificate Brewmaster Course at the VLB (Versuchs-und Lehranstalt fur Brauereiwesen) in Berlin, 2017. Since then she has passionately continued to pursue her interest in brewing which made her way to Arbor Brewing Company, Goa. Her continuous pursuit of learning new techniques and its application has given her the ability to find her niche and work with a creative mindset rather than a theoretical one. She now has found Mannheim Brews to apply her creativity to brew amazing craft beers.
Assistant BrewerRahul Sukdev Sanap
As a native of Maharashtra, Rahul gained early influence from the wine country of Nashik. He completed his master degree in Brewing Technology at Gargi Agriculture Research And Training Institute in 2017. He honed his skills at Effingut, then in 2019 Bangalore’s reputation for craft beer led him here to Mannheim. His unwavering integrity and focus on excellent technique play a crucial role in the crafting of our beloved quality beers.
